I am trying a PfSense installation at home with the fallowing topology in mind.

      I have 2 questions.

      1. Does it have any advantage if I connect two gaming PC's to 2 different interfaces directly on PfSense (Latency, avoding broadcast traffic, BufferBloat e.t.c, general online gaming performance wise )? OR it does not matter if they both connected directly to the switch.

      2. My ISP provided me with WAN (xxx) and LAN (yyy) VLAN Id's for IPTV. Should I connect IPTV directly to one of the inerfaces or connecting to the switch also works?

I am confused on how to configure these WAN and LAN VLAN's either on switch or on pfsense.

I mean which of the bellow two senarios is a preferred way? and how to configure PfSense , switch or both for the preffered senario.

       a) IPTV connected to the switch.
       b) IPTV connected to a Pfsense interface directly.

Any directions on configuration steps welcome.
      Thank you.
