Is TNSR ready for prime time?
-
We are interested in upgrading the capacity of our edge routers and in the process of considering the migration to 2 x TNSR routers. (Customer Hardware).
Looking through the latest release notes of known issues, and testing the system within a LAB environment is this product ready to hit the prime time and be reliable enough to run large scale networks?
I don't see a lot of forum posts on TNSR, are there any large ISP's out there using TNSR?

If I had to "guess" the reason for this could/might be due to TNSR not being free for such use, any sort of bigger company leveraging TNSR most likely has a support contract and any questions/issues most likely are directly with support vs posted on the forums.
If you get with netgate, they "may" be able to provide you with some reference customers? That have it deployed similar to how your thinking of using it.
I say "may" just because not all customers like or permit being used as reference no matter how much they may love the product, etc.

@johnpoz Thank you for the reply.
The above is purely an assumption based on the last release of TNSR and the long list of known issues.

@insanesplash I get yeah, my reply is pure guess work on my part as well ;) Since I have no insight to who or how many etc. are actually using TNSR in large scale environments or even small ones.. It could be 1000's it could be 1..
I was more just commenting/guessing to why you don't see many posts about it here on the forums. I have not done any personal testing/playing with it as of yet myself - because well I don't have the lab to do it justice for one ;)
