Site to site vpn in aws

Hey i tried to make site to site vpn when the pfsense with the openvpn server is in aws and the pfsense with openvpn client is in ovh.

it can ping just in one way.

I dont know what is the problem.

it the cidrs needs to be at same subnet?
I mean at /24 together or one can be /8 and other /24
and is they needs to start at same? like something 192.168.1.0/24 and other 192.168.2.0/24 ?
or not?

I think that is something with my routes or something with my ips that blocked the ping from being both sides
and instead of it the ping is working just from one side.
