The snapshots are back!
-
Well, since I've used the 1.2.3 RC2 snapshot a couple of weeks ago and it borked the ability to receive the updates I had to start over. I made a backup of the settings and did a complete re-install using the latest snapshot this morning which is 1.2.3-RC2 built on Sat Jul 18 20:43:43 EDT 2009 FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE-p2 i386. Lucky the restore of the settings made things less painful. Although I wasn't too happy that I wasn't able to save the logs but no biggie tho. I know I can copy the log folders and etc but too lazy to deal with it. Besides, starting over from scratch ensures me things will work correctly.
The latest snapshot seems to work fine but then again I only got it running for half a day so far.
Great work guys in fixing the problems with the earlier snapshots! :)

And they're gone again today. Just curious what's up?

They're back again. LOL
Looks like only 21st snapshots are available so I guess they trashed the earlier ones that caused some issues.

Upgraded already, running stable with no issues on my network. Seems safe enough for everyone else to take the plunge

Upgraded this afternoon, looking awesome. Much faster and seems to be even more stable. IPSEC tunnels reduced ting time by 20 MS.
Great work!!

I just updated it to the lastest snapshot and so far everything seems to be working just fine. Even the updater works.
Just it took about 15 mins for the update to be uploaded to my firewall and then rebooted like it should. Dunno why it took that long for PIII 1Ghz machine. Ah well, eventually the hardware is going to be replaced with something faster. Meanwhile that processor and 512MB of ram is sufficent enough for my needs.

The update took a while to download, longer than normal(it stopped at 25 meg for about 30 second and then started right backup. Since my box is virtual it had a bunch of werid errors during the reboot. But after that the reboot was perfect no errors and it's running perfect.
