openvpn connection reset/closed upon another client connecting

I have two devices that need to connect to my openvpn. I have a laptop and an android phone. My laptop is already connected. I go to connect my android phone, and it connects. But then on my laptop, I start to see this:

Sat Dec 25 10:15:36 2021 Connection reset, restarting [0]
Sat Dec 25 10:15:36 2021 SIGUSR1[soft,connection-reset] received, process restarting

It doesn't seem to successfully connect then. I've already checked my openvpn settings, and Concurrent connections is set to 2. I am using the same user account to login to the VPN server. Not sure if that makes a difference?

It doesn't if you have checked "Duplicate Connection". Did you?
