      Hello,

My fpsense VM is hosted on ESXi server, pfsense has an interface that is connected to vmx0 for the wan interface : IP 192.168.100.251 upstream GW is 192.168.100.1

for the lan part it is configured like this :
      vmx1 172.16.1.1/24
      vmx2 172.16.2.1/24
      vmx3 172.16.3.1/24
before rebooting pfsense, all was fine.
but now from the pfsense router, if i try to ping the upstream gateway 192.168.100.1
ping: send to: Host is down
if I ping the pfsense vmx0 wan interface (192.168.100.251) from the upstream router

      globalfw01 # execute ping 192.168.100.251
      PING 192.168.100.251 (192.168.100.251): 56 data bytes
      --- 192.168.100.251 ping statistics ---
5 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss

ping from all lan interfaces to their respective gateway is ok.

Any idea ? I am pretty sure that if I install again from scratch it will work until reboot.
      very strange behavior.

      Thanks !
