Destination IP and Port?
-
Hi,
just getting started and fiddling with my first firewall rules in pfSense. Coming from Ubiquiti things are similar but different. I like the default block policy pfSense deploys, used to the opposite, so a really nice change.
But... I need to set a destination in a rule to a range of IPs and a specific port... In my try to make that, I created aliaseses for the IPs and the port in question, but I find no means to use both of them in the rule? How can this be done?
Thanks -

I don't think I've even seen a firewall that by default passes everything, though with industrial grade routers, they're wide open if you don't at least make them a firewall by creating a rule. Then, they become block all, except what you allow.

At source or destination you can select "Single IP or alias" from the drop-town and then enter the alias in the next box.
For port select "other" and enter the alias. -
@viragomann Perfect, missed that one, thanks!
