After fresh install of v2.6.0 over an existing v2.5.2 vSphere 6.7 VM, the same five vmxnet3 network adapters numbered 1,2,3,4,5 in vSphere were numbered as vmx0,1,2,3,4 in v2.5.2 were numbered as vmx0,2,3,4,1 respectively in v2.6.0. When using more than 2 network interfaces, it is advisable to first verify the mapping of each interface after a fresh install of v2.6.0 before deploying a config file exported from v2.5.2.
