SquidGuard using simple flat files

Is there a way to have SG use flat files like Stevens black list (https://github.com/StevenBlack/hosts) ?

I know pfblockerng can work with these domains but I use Squid for reporting (light squid) so it would be very helpful if I can somehow use flat files like these instead of a .tar.gz file which in reality there is only UT1.
