RingCentral VOIP Softphone - Problem

We recently started using RingCentral and I am experiencing issues when trying to use the RingCentral softphone desktop application while connected via OpenVPN at the same time. RingCentral softphone currently only works if I disconnect from OpenVPN.
Is there a rule or something that has to be done to allow RingCentral through the VPN. Could this be caused by tunneling all traffic through the VPN?
