      would like to inquire about what features of pfsense do no work in transparent firewall mode.

      how about DHCP server and traffic shaping??

        DHCP is passed between the 2 bridged interfaces. You can't run a dhcp server on a bridged interface but on the interface an interface is bridged to. Trafficshaping won't work between bridged interfaces.
