      Hi

I have network configuration as below:

                                   pfSense
                ┌───────────────── LAN: no ip
                │ WAN: no ip──────────────────────────────┐
                │ BRG: LAN + WAN 10.0.0.2/24 │Computer2
            Computer1 IP: 10.0.0.4/24
            IP: 10.0.0.3/24 Gateway: 10.0.0.1
            Gateway: 10.0.0.1

All interfaces have "Block private networks and loopback ..." unmarked.

Firewall is switched off in advanced options.
      Computer1 can ping computer2, but computer2 cannot ping computer1.
      I am puzzled.

If you could help to explain, give hint or advise how to diagnose - you are welcome.
      Thanks in advance.

Hi @nil Did you tried to remove the gateway ip from both computer? Since you're in the same subnet and you pfSense ip is 10.0.0.2 why do you set the machine gateway as 10.0.0.1 ?

          Hi

          Thank you for your answer.
The gateway is set because it in fact exists, however not displayed on my graph. I assumed it was irrelevant because all three (comp1, comp2, pfSense) are on the same subnet, hence gateway should not be used at all.

I noticed that the culprit is my computer. Windows switched network profile to guest network and stopped responding on ping. So everything is fine with pfSense.
