      Hello,

for learning purposes I installed pfSense in a VM as a router for a virtual nat network.
Using the clients I can not access HTTP websites (but access to HTTPs websites is no problem, that works).

I guess the problem is because of configuration setting in pfSense.
What can I do to get access to http websites?
      How to enable http traffic?

Ensure that you have stated another TCP port for the WebGUI in System > Advanced > Admin Access.

        And disabel WebGUI redirect.

Ok, I am now in Admin Access.
I found the line where to disable WebGUI redirect, thanks.

Right now I am not sure how to state another TCP port for the WebGui.
          Could you make an example?

You can use any port that is not occupied by any other service.

            This is mine for instance:

I use 1483 with SSL enabled, hence I have to state the port in the address line in the web browser to get the web configurator.

              This will also work :

              ce2f9c64-2451-4993-9611-6dee90efcc8a-image.png

              😊

Or, if you have to, you can also use the default 'port 80' (== http) for pfSense.

These are the default values (80 and 443).

But the Web server 'GUI' ports used by pfSense has nothing to do with all the other web servers on the Internet.
              They also use port 443.
I guess there are very few web servers left on the internet that still use the "port 80 http"

Not being able to visit -any- http port on the Internet from the LAN means something 'terrible' has happened during initial setup.

By default, on the LAN interface, there is a rule that permits "everybody can go to everywhere".
There is not such thing as "all ok but no http".

It was not checked by default.

Edit : and where are the logs ??
