I have a vpn connection for me and now I need to add a contractor. The contractor will just need access to a single server within my network. I have setup the specifc server in the IPv4 Local Network and set the common name as the same username as the contractor's username in user manager . When I am testing this and I connect as the contractor, I am still able to ping and access the same resources as me. What am I missing?

Pushing specific routes to a client is pretty useless with regards to security purposes anyway.
The client can route any traffic over the VPN he want. So forget it.

Use the CSO to assign a certain virtual IP to the client and use this IP in firewall rule to pass / block access from him.
