      Hi,

does a Floating 'Match' rule implicitly does a 'Pass'? Will traffic be blocked by the built-in 'Block' rule if a Floating 'Match' exists?

@richardeb No. A match rule matches. It does not pass or block. They are typically used to set a queue or a tag. Yes, a subsequent block will block the traffic as long as that traffic still matches the block rule after whatever manipulation the match rule is set to do is done.

@derelict I'm using a very broad floating match rule for Traffic Shaping (QoS). The pass rules are interface based and more sophisticated. This should work as expected and not leak any traffick. Right?

@richardeb match rules have no effect on traffic. It always flows through to the next rule with the alterations made.
