I recently installed and successfully configured wireguard on my pfSense 2.6.0-Release

I had both openvpn and wireguard installed subsequently had issues with some of my NAT/Wireguard configuration after removing openvpn setup

In order to resolve the issue I rolled back the configuration to before I had Wireguard installed.

on restarting the device, I noted that the packages for wireguard are still operational and running despite the system having been rebooted.

It's not clear if this is a general bug in regards to how configuration rollback and package revocation should operate vs being a wireguard specific issue.

note there is no wireguard interface operating

The package is installed as noted, however there is no configuration in the menu.
Whilst I can understand why this is the case it seems like something that should be flagged as a bug in regards to boot of configuration where it is missing but the packages are locally still operating.

I'm actually remoting into firewall with my wireguard configuration which should not exist whilst opening this bug.
