UPnP and Anno 1800
-
I'm able again to comment on this topic. I had to set up a physical PfSense firewall due to the slow inter-vlan speeds due to a Hyper-V bug. And then I had another ongoing issue with my ISP which is also finally resolved.
So since I currently do not play many multiplayer games I can only comment for Back4Blood and Anno 1800.
- B4B = works without any issues
- list itemAnno 1800 still have NAT on strict instead of open or moderate
My current settings
Pfsense version = v2.6.0 (stable branch)
Fix applied & debug = OK, screenshot 0System -> Advanced:
- NAT Reflection mode for port forwards = Disabled
- Reflection Timeout = 2000 (default)
- Enable NAT Reflection for 1:1 NAT = Unchecked (disabled)
- Enable automatic outbound NAT for Reflection = Unchecked (disabled)
- TFTP Proxy = nothing selected (default)
- See screenshot 1
Firewall -> NAT -> Outbound
- Mode = Hybrid Outbound NAT (as I have some servers requiring a static port)
- Mappings = No computers present, only 3 server IP mappings
- See screenshot 2
Services -> UPnP & NAT-PMP
- Enabled = Checked (on)
- UPnP Port Mapping = Checked
- NAT-PMP Port Mapping = Checked
- External Interface = WAN
- Interfaces = LAN
- Log packets = Checked
- Uptime = Checked
- No STUN
- No UPnP ACLS present
- See screenshot 3
Finally
Firewall was rebooted and computer(s) = No solution
In the UPnP log (screenshot 4) you do not see any used ports for Anno 1800 which should be UDP 18000.Believe something is still not working correctly with the NAT fix,or I'm forgetting something (possibility) or it is a bug in Anno 1800.
Hope the given information can help!

@donzalmrol am having the same issue
-
can anybody help me fix this issue please

@donzalmrol (myself) Update:
Just found out that if I create an outbound NAT rule for my LAN range (or scoped game PC) I get Anno 1800 in NAT type moderate :)
But that shouldn't be the solutions as UPnP should manage this for you.Firewall -> NAT -> Outbound
Result:
However no UPnP & NAT-PMP sessions:

@donzalmrol i remember on 2.5 i used to get UPnP & NAT-PMP sessions but for some reason am not getting it with 2.6, i have tried many configurations and am not sure what am doing wrong, hopefully somebody knows the fix.

Can you provide a detailed view of the relevant NAT rule settings for those of us who are not so savvy?
