pfblockerNG drops pfsense.

Good afternoon,
we have a pfsense whose version is 2.6.0 and previously we had installed the pfblocker plugin where the GeoIP section was activated for the continents of Asia and Europe, creating many blocking rules. After several months of use, the problem arose that pfsense stopped loading, finding that the problem was the configuration file, which had a very large size due to the rules created from the plugin, causing it not to load completely.
Is there a way to avoid this type of scenario or some method of use for pfblocker?
