      hi guys
      i set up and running openvpn on pfsense.
      when my linux client machine connecting to VPN server they get default gateway route, but in my configuration i do not enable redirect gateway or not using any unusual route push. but my windows client work fine.
      how should i Tshoot this problem ?

        I guess, your using the Network Manager. Yes, there is an issue with setting the default route, even if the server pushes only specific networks.

        You can edit the VPN client settings, on the IPvX tab click Routes, check "ignore automatic pulled routes" and add the needed networks manually. You don't need to state a gateway, only networks and masks.

          by enabling " use this connection only for resources on its network" the vpn default route removed from linux client.
          my client use ubuntu 22.04 LTS

            This looks somewhat different than my NM on OpenSUSE Leap 15.3. But glad that you got it working.
