WAN VoIP Rule Question
-
Hello, I am currently setting up a new network for a remote office and using the Netgate 6100 along with Aruba's 1960 switches. I have setup up the vlans and everything is working on a local level so now working on services. I have been testing our remote phones and did manage today to get the one test phone registered, it appeared to work for about a minute and now it dropped off. My question is when creating rules under WAN am I able to forward VoIP traffic to the actual VoIP vlan network, normally when you forward it goes to one single IP but in my case I will have approx. 10 or more phones at the location.
I did notice on the PBX that the remote phone that quickly connected earlier is showing it a randomly assigned port 43569, I don't think that port is within the parameters of the pbx and it firewall but unsure at this point. Any WAN rule pointers you can give in this scenario. Thank you.

So I have made a bit of progress, I added a few rules to WAN side all to no avail. Ended up adding some outbound rules to my VoIP network and do have the phone connected and have tested it. Going to test a second phone to see if there are conflicts but I would have thought the WAN rules would have been necessary, guess not.
