      Hello,

pfSense has a configurable IPv4/IPv6 preference. I would like to specify my own address selection policy. Is there a standard or best practice way to configure this?

I have put the policy in /etc/ip6addrctl.conf using the filer plugin, and then tried running:

      /usr/sbin/service ip6addrctl restart

as a shellcmd or earlyshellcmd, nether of which seem to have an effect. Manually restarting ip6addrctl after a reboot does work, however.

More information is in my post in the IPv6 section.
