Citrix Viewer connection interrupted
-
Hi All,
Totally new to networking and pfSense (wanted to extend my knowledge by installing pfsense though) so apologies for the lack of knowledge.
Most of the time I'm working remotely from home for a company that is using Citrix Viewer to access their desktops. When I switched to pfSense (from Asus AX56U router) I started experiencing "connection interrupted" errors once-twice per day. In the past if the internet connection was lost Citrix gave itself 5 minutes to re-connect - on pfSense it's not working and I have to disconnect then connect/login once again using token etc.I read somewhere that pfSense is randomizing source port for outgoing connections hence some NAT rules have to be applied for a stable connection.
Has anyone experienced this or would be able to guide where to check what's the IP/Port etc for the citrix connection with my company and how to set up the NAT rule properly?
Thank you in advance!

This is not the issue. If you required a specific source port to make the connection, you would never connect in the first place.
