How do I whitelist ads.google.com?
-
I need to be able to access the Google ad manager to manage my own ads but when I try to do so, access is being blocked (I see the self-signed certificate from my router)
I've tried adding ads.google.com to the DNSBL but that didn't help ---
Something else is clearly blocking that site --- and/or overriding the DNSBL
Anybody know how to solve this?
Thanks,

@dhjdhj Sounds like you're running pfBlocker's DNSBL?
If you add the hostname(s) to the DNSBL Whitelist and force an update that should do it. Review the dnsbl.log file to see if there are any other blocks for related sites.
Also flush the DNS cache on the PC...ipconfig /flushdns in Windows.

@steveits Thanks - per my initial comment, I did add ads.google.com to the DNSBL (and should have mentioned that I did a Force Update) but that made no difference. It wasn't necessary to flush the DNS on the Mac, as soon as I disabled pfBlocker (and did a Force Update), I was able to reach ads.google.com with no problem.
I'll have to look at the logs I suppose
