I have pfsense running in a vm on proxmox. at the moment I have two nics WAN (vmb0) and LAN vmb1 (no ip assigned) connected to two of the LAN ports on the UDM.
I can ping out through the pfsense interface but don't feel like this is the most ideal way to do it. I have seen tutorials indicating that the WAN from the modem should be connected to the WAN of the pfsense and the LAN from pfsense conntected to the WAN of the UDM but this doesn't work. My server has a total of 6 NIC ports so if necessary I can make additional ports available. Might there be instructions somewhere that I can use?

Thanks in advance for the help
