Proper set up of internal switch in SG-2100 for VLANs
-
I am having problems with properly setting up the switch in the SG-2100 I am configuring.
These are my configuration parameters:
- The four (nominal) LAN ports are supposed to be joined into a fully symmetrical switch.
- One of the LAN ports is supposed to carry packets with VLAN tags 16 and 17.
These are my interfaces:
These are the ports configured as of now:
I realize that this will likely have to change. Nota bene, I am currently plugged into LAN4, as I write this. I have not made any changes to the VID on that port. I had done so yesterday, which semi-bricked the SG-2100. It took me 2 h to get my MacBook Pro to connect to the console port on the SG-2100 and roll back configuration changes.
VLAN assignments:
I would be most grateful to anyone who could point out my mistakes and show me what I have to do to accomplish my desired configuration.

I am getting there! I had to make these additional VLAN tag assignments:
Something is still amiss, however.

You cannot have 3 VLANs all untagged on ports 1-4 and expect them to work. Especially with VLAN1 untagged as well.
Tag the ports if they are tagged traffic, or remove the ports they aren't to be associated with.

@rcoleman-netgate: This is what I have now:
and
It turns out that I had neglected to select the physical port in the definition of the corresponding interface.
Now it finally works!

@dominikhoffmann You can skip the port assignment (that only shows you up/down status in the GUI) and do the PVID assignments -- which was likely all you were really missing.
