I'm moving back from a standalone HAProxy RHEL host to pfSense's built-in HAProxy; I added my custom pages, lists, maps from the dedicated machine to the corresponding section (…/haproxy/haproxy_files.php), it seemed like I'd have no issues until it was time to choose one of these files.

Error pages were straightforward as there's a dropdown for them, but in the case of other files marked as type Write to disk in the HAProxy UI I got lost real bad. I tried just putting in the name, so a relative path was assumed — I assumed — but it didn't work.

Then I got into the filesystem and I was able to find the files but on closer inspection I realized the files I found were the applied and tentative configurations; a copy of the files I entered in the boxes.

What's the path for the original files? Or alternatively, what would be a good place to store the files that HAProxy can read from (safely).

      Thanks.

Missing something? Word endings, maybe? I included a free puzzle in this msg if you solv--okay, I'm lying. It's dyslexia, makes me do that, sorry! Just finish the word; they're rarely misspelled, just incomplete. Yeah-yeah-I know. Same thing.
