      Hi

      • I have 2 LANs (I use 2 interfaces on a router/firewall) that are supposed to talk to each other (all the firewall rules are in place to allow traffic between the 2).

      • Sometimes, I am able to connect from LAN1 to LAN 2 (ie accessing the web gui of systems on the other LAN, or pinging systems on the other LAN)

      • However, very often I am not able to and I do not understand why. Funnily enough, I have a media player on LAN2 that gets data from a NAS on LAN1, meaning that some sort of connectivity exists.

      • I have 2x Managed switches. Previously Zyxel 1900GS, now Ubiquiti lite. I thought the issue was with the switches, but the issue is still there.

I think the problem may be at L2/L3 level as the connectivity seems to work whenever I start a new service on one of the LANs, but after a few minutes it times out.

      Can anyone help me please.
