A couple of my feeds have outdated/invalid source definitions and I was wondering whether I have misconfigured something. I would expect that the source definitions are updated automatically.

For example, the Malicious feed has currently one failing source C19_CTC:

This source shouldn't be there at all according to the feed overview:

The overview also mentiones user defined feeds (the failing being one of them) which I didn't add manually though:

A forced reload and update dind't remove those feeds either.

Have you tried opening that URL in a browser? If it doesn't open then that website might be having issues. Give it a day or so and try again.
You might need to set that group to OFF till it get's fixed.

@jdeloach The URL does not work, i.e. the feed is offline. I was just wondering whether pfblocker should remove that source automatically during the feed update as it is not part of the Malicious feed anymore.

pfBlockerNG does not automatically remove them. They have to be manually removed if they permanently go offline.
I would say give it a day or two and see if it comes back online. It is not uncommon for a feed to go offline temporarily. These feeds are hosted by people like you and me and given the holidays, the individual hosting it may not even be aware that it is offline.

@jdeloach Thanks a lot for the clarification regarding the removal of feed sources. I presume that specific source is offline for good as it is not shown anymore in the feed overview, i.e. not part of it anymore.

But I guess new sources would be added automatically by pfblocker when they are added to an already subscribed feed?
