      Hi,

i Have installed squid and squidguard and everything works normally ,also ssl certificate is installed on pfsense and localmachine, but when i'm trying to open a website using ip address (it works using url) i got the following error (check image):

Failed to establish a secure connection to 192.168.50.1

      The system returned:

      (92) Protocol error (TLS code: SQUID_X509_V_ERR_DOMAIN_MISMATCH)

      any help please!

      Thanks

@karimhaydar31 That is the way TLS works.

@karimhaydar31 You can't access TLS resources by IP address if the IP address is not in the certificate they present. This is TLS doing what TLS is supposed to do. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish and why.
