      Hi all,

I would like to replace our runing single WAN configuration to a dual WAN config.
The Docs recommend changing the interface from WAN to LOCALHOST and adding rules to forward port 1194 for WAN1 and WAN2 to localhost:1194.
      Ok.
Unfortunately the interface section is not visible in the GUI - OpenVPV/Server/Edit - Endpoint Configuration.
So I tried to edit the configuration manually but couldn't get it persistent.
Configuration falls back to WAN after stop/start OpenVPN Server in the GUI.
Where is the origin of the configuration located?

      Thx a lot

      Regards
      Gerd

@kuhlmang said in DUAL WAN / change running config:

        Strange. Can't believe that.
The OpenVPN server can listen on any interface IP normally. So LAN, DMZ are listed there as well.

But if that really is the issue, you can as well forward the OpenVPN port to the WAN2 IP. Will work likewise.
And no, there are no security concerns doing this.

Changing the protocol drop down in Endpoint Configuration enables the interface selection.
          This solved my problem.
OpenVPN is running on both WAN Ports.
