@vito-0 I have the same problem. I'm using squid guard, and I need to release whatsapp for a specific group. The whastsapp WEB works, but the whatsapp APP does not generate the QR CODE

Sorry guys, I have to propose the 'silly' test :
          Remove "pfBlockerNG".
Reset states, or do better : reboot.
          Problem solved.
          Right !?

          Next test :
          Install "pfBlockerNG".
But : remove all "dnsbl" - remove al IP feeds. Remove reputation stuff, and geolocalisation.
          It still works,
          Right !?

Because "pfBlockerNG" by itself does nothing.

Now, add back the IP and DNSBL you've chosen before.
          The issue is back.
          Right !?

pfSense, no packages - just the initial install, blocks nothing.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

@allancarlos Squid +SquidGuard would be an issue for WhatsApp. I believe they use pin certs. Either way you will need to whitelist this domain.

            Firewall: NetGate,Palo Alto-VM,Juniper SRX
            Routing: Juniper, Arista, Cisco
            Switching: Juniper, Arista, Cisco
            Wireless: Unifi, Aruba IAP
            JNCIP,CCNP Enterprise
