Hey pfSense is quite new to me.

For some reason the export packages aren't showing up. I installed the OpenVPN client export package but I can't download the .msi file for Windows. What could be the reason it's not showing up?

Did you setup an OpenVPN remote access server properly?

@viragomann yes I already did this configuration multiple times successfully this is the only time the exports (blue button) aren't showing up. Don't know why.

I'm pretty sure if I uninstall everything and redo everything it will work. But I'm wondering why it doesn't work now.

Check if the OpenVPN server mode is "remote access".

If you use SSL/TLS auth, there must be a CA assigned to the server and user certificates must be generated with it.
Check in System > Certificate Manager > Certificates

@jarhead @viragomann I think I found out the hard way. I just completly started over again with a fresh pfsense firewall and then something hit me. The Remote Access mode was on SSL/TLS + User Auth. I changed it to only User Auth. No the OpenVPN clients do show up.

@viragomann you had it right they didn't show up because there were no user certificates. So my configuration wasn't complete.
