      @rcoleman-netgate Q: will 1100/2100 that are not on 22.05, and can't upgrade to 23.01, be able to upgrade to 22.05? We have a few non-managed clients that had not yet upgraded to 22.05, and can only get to 23.01 via reinstall, which means an on-site visit.

      Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
      When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

        @steveits They should but you want to make sure you set the right upgrade branch.

          I am having issues upgrading my "System Netgate 1100" which below is the information of the system. Are there issues with the 1100 Netgate devices at this time?

          Here is the error messages:

            @_chadtech Yes. Apparently the post unpins itself (??) but https://forum.netgate.com/topic/178049/pfsense-plus-23-01-updates-on-the-1100-and-2100-systems/.

            Short version: they're working on a way for unaffected devices to upgrade, or you can manually reinstall if you don't want to wait.

                We can set that for a period of time, not permanently, it appears. Or at least I can only do it for a period of time.
