[23.01-RELEASE] pfBlockerNG v3.2.0_1 not ready for DHCP registration with Python mode?
-
According to blog post:
A long-standing difficult-to-reproduce crash in Unbound during reloading has been addressed. It is now safe again to enable DHCP registration alongside Unbound Python mode in pfBlockerNG.
So I've enabled Register DHCP leases in the DNS Resolver but after DNSBL update pfBlockerNG shows a warning about lack of compatibility and revert to Unbound mode. -
@emikaadeo pfBlockerNG is still being worked on to remove the limitation.
-
@cmcdonald So there will be a 3.2.0.2 or higher release to address this?
-
@cmcdonald aha the text on the pfSense website confuses me too. Maybe it could be edited, with the knowledge from this topic.

Yep I agree. The documentation got ahead of the fix. Its causing confusion.
It should be removed until the fix is merged and available for download, imo.
