Traffic graph shows half actual throughput in some scenarios...

I have the traffic graph set to clear when the page is not being viewed. When going to another tab in the browser, and then returning to the page, the graph shows only half the actual throughput.
Anyone else seeing this??
If I do a page reload (or click pfsense log), the graph shows correct numbers. Have tested this in Chrome and Firefox with same results.
Here's the graph showing the correct download speed during a Steam game update...
And here it is after leaving and returning to the page...
The result is the same regardless of Inverse being on/off or showing bits or bytes...

@gblenn Interesting, I see this on both 2.6 and 23.01 in quick testing. It's a bit subtle because if you show the graph, then start a download in a new tab, then switch back, it will already be half speed.
Does it reset for you if you Shift+reload the page?
There have been multiple posts over the years about the speed being wrong. I wonder if this tidbit about switching pages is why it seems inconsistent.

@steveits By Shift + Reload do you mean holding shift and clicking browser reload?
If so, it resets to show the correct speed, yes!And I agree, it's subtle, and I have been irritated over this for quite a long time but never could put my finger on it. But today as I was testing some other stuff, I happened to have a lot of game downloads backed up which allowed for enough time to spot it...

Ok, so Ctrl-reload or Ctrl + Shift + R all do the same as reload, which shows the correct speed in the graph...

@gblenn Do you have traffic shaping enabled? Just wondering if that's a factor. I don't think I have easy access to a router with shaping disabled.
Using a new window in Firefox for the download works as expected because the original graph is still showing.
So, is this correct to reproduce:
- open the traffic graph page
- open another tab in the same browser to start a download
- switch back to the traffic graph tab, speed is half
- Reload the page, speed doubles to the expected speed
and
- open the traffic graph page
- open another browser or new browser window to start a download, leaving the page open
- in the traffic graph window, speed is as expected

@steveits No shaping enabled.
And that looks exactly like the way to reproduce it!
'Clear graphs when not visible' must be selected and it's basically "returning to page" that makes it show half speed.It happens with Chrome and Firefox and I just tested in Edge as well, same thing...
