      I assume SAML support will be coming as OpenVPN now has it natively, but is there any estimate (even rough) of how long that type of update takes to become available in pfsense?

        Am I missing something?

          Unless I'm missing something, as far as I can see from their docs, SAML is only for OpenVPN Access Server, not the open source community server/client (which is what is used on/with pfSense software).
