I've got the latest pfblockerNG-devel installed (3.2.0_3) but this has been going on ever since upgrading to pfsense 23.01. Basically every day regardless of what the widget is set to do it will clear the hit counters once per day. It's not a huge issue but still would be nice since I have the widget set to weekly for hit counters to be cleared. Not sure if there is a cron job that I should check on somewhere that might be stuck as daily instead of weekly or if I missed something in the release notes on this behavior change.

@lurick Is it overnight? There was a recent thread about firewall counters being reset and IIRC it was fixed by the patch that disabled the 3 am cron jobs. If you haven't installed the System Patches package and applied those, that would be something to try. It will need a reboot, or installing the cron package and saving a job, to redo the jobs.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

@steveits I have not applied those patches yet, didn't see them until just now. I'll give that a spin and update in a couple days!
