Sonos setup with VLAN and Spotify Connect

Hi there

I am trying to get my Sonos speakers to work within my VLANs. Here is the setup of VLANs:

I have controllers in 10 and 20, that is also working, they can see the speakers. Here my IP aliases:

BTW: SFW = Safe for work

Here my firewall rules for the IoT:

And the rules for the SFW:

Allow IP options is turned on. So as said, I can see the speakers in the Sonos app. But Spotify Connect is not working.

The pimd setup I tried you can see here, unfortunately it does not work.

The weirdest is, when I turn on the pimd service, on my iPhone in the Sonos app, I loose wifi connection immediately. When I disable pimd, the wifi works again.

Any ideas?

Thank you so much for sharing. To be honest mate Spotify in Sonos isn't great, all sorts of dropouts, and some days it just doesn't work! Even though Sonos supports playing Spotify with free and premium accounts, you’re limited to six song skips per hour and you have to put up with irremovable ads on Spotify Free. So, to get Spotify unlimited services or have a better listening experience, here you could try AMusicSoft Spotify Music Converter to break all the limitations of Spotify Free. I have added multiple songs to my local Spotify music library, just turn to AMusicSoft Spotify Music Converter to download them to your local folder. Now I don't have to play Spotify on Sonos via Bluetooth.

Sonos relies heavily on multicast and broadcast traffic for device discovery and communication. I failed when I first tried to do this. Then I found that my speakers and controller devices are on different VLANs....and I must ensure that multicast traffic is allowed between VLANs first. Or you could simply use the way Eric recommended you. Rip songs might be more convenient. The application I use is DumpMedia Spotify Music Converter.
