      Hi,
Is it possible to combine two Wifi for better connection. Lets say have pfSense with Wifi AP and second router with Wifi. But second router connected LAN (Bridge LAN) to pfSense LAN and also distributing LAN ports to home PCs.
Here available options in second router Wifi modes:

@antibiotic it’s possible but pfSense has to use cpu to route packets. Generally a small switch is better.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

@steveits I took a look this guide. Should create two WIFI AP with the same ESSID, and same channels? How to combine them? Generally, how to make this by steps?

I doubt that will do what you want. Two AP with the same SSID and channel will simply interfere with each other. Also, what's your incoming bandwidth? If less than what one AP can handle, then you won't get any improvement.

i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.

            I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

No, not in any way you might want to use that.

It would require dual radios in the client device and some layer 2 combination protocol. For increased bandwidth at least.

You can have two APs using the same SSID on different channels for better coverage.

In the land of more advanced equipment there is less combo HW and more discrete HW.

For better coverage more than one AP from the same manufacturer can allow for AP roaming and better coverage.
For better bandwidth a new AP with newer protocols.

You may be able to get other things to work together and do what you want, but the cost will be your time. In my case I prefer set and forget. I bounce the FW almost exclusively for software changes, the APs are only for SW changes. The family does not have to deal with anything that mostly works.

For a learning experience it is hard to find a better classroom than making things like this work.
