Kernel panic with Wistron CM9 card

My ALIX 2D1 box has been working fine with the latest versions of nanobsd 1.2.3. The BIOS is up to date. It has 128 MB of RAM and a 2 GB CF card.
Today I installed a Wistron CM9 a/b/g card. On startup I get this in the console:
