WireGuard VPN Client Configuration Example in Docs Netgate
-
Hello,
I have just setup a client configuration on my pfsense 2.6 following instructions in link text. Apparently everything is working except that login into my ISP router is no more possible from a machine on the local network; same happens when I connect from outside via a vpn connection (the vpn "server" is an SBC, not pfsense). Local lan is 192.168.0.0 while the ISP router is on 192.168.1.0. I use IVPN as wireguard provider. Can someone please suggest a solution?
Thank you -
@latimeria The example routes everything through the VPN. Make another rule with a RFC 1918-Alias that is not using this WG-gateway.

@Bob-Dig ok I will go this way, maybe my fault but still not clear what traffic should not go through the VPN....local I suppose. I have taken this guide as the failover to wan scenario is a good approach to me. IVPN is reliable but not guaranteed it could not drop for some reason and the setup guide on their web site is apparently oriented to just a kill switch scenario.
Thank you
