      Hello guys,

      since last week I ‘m trying to implement a “router on a stick” configuration on my Negtate 2100 but without success.

      My network's topology is very simple. I have 2 desktop pc, 1 Firewall/Router Negate 2100 and 1 Switch Zyxel GS1900-8.

      Below you can see the connections:
      Netgate 2100
      Lan Port 1 -> Desktop PC 1
      Lan Port 2 -> Zyxel GS1900-8 (trunk)
      Lan Port 3 -> Empty
      Lan Port 4 -> Empty

      Zyxel GS1900-8
      Lan Port 1 -> Netgate 2100 (trunk)
      Lan Port 2-7 -> Empty
      Lan Port 8 -> Desktop PC 2

      My goal is to have two VLAN the first (VLAN1) for all the devices and a second (VALN 10) for my second PC (only Lan Port 8). I don't want to use port isolation because i want to expand my network in the future (more devices attached on VLAN10).

      The problem is that when a connect a device on the switch port 8, it can’t obtain a valid IP address on the VLAN10.

      I controlled the configuration of the router and the switch many times but without finding the mistake.

      Could someone help me, please? Below you can find the screenshot of the configuration in detail.

      Best regards
