        Was that firewall installed with an older version and then upgraded?

        There are still some edge cases lurking where it needs a newer boot loader but the upgrade process either can't update it or has a problem updating it.

          23.09.a.20230823.0600->23.09.a.20230824.0600
          It's strange, but after selecting the original version BEFORE update in the boot environments, I see 23.09.a.20230824.0600 booted just fine… I am not sure what was happened. Will see when next snapshots are available.

            Today's snapshot went smoothly.
            I don't know what glitch it was, but now it's OK

                Looks like it need a power cycle to boot. Never required before. Will try a full reinstall from 2.7 image later.
