Squid SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

trying to get squid rolling on inspection, but having the above error on most sites. i created a CA, turned on SSL inspection using the newly created CA, and selected "splice all" as the inspection mode. selected the LAN interface as the SSL Intercept Interface. the proxy is running in transparent mode. i'm just trying to teach myself how to use it, but the squid video i watched on the forums didn't include the above error :p anything i'm missing? also, the pfsense instance is my DNS server

@jaredp select all sections from "Remote Certs Checks" and "Certificate Adapt" and tested.
Now, what problems u have? a specific domain...? tell us...
