Hello, I've read the guide and forum similar errors, but the issue is confusing.

      I successfully installed pfSense-CE-2.7.0-RELEASE-amd64.iso to a KVM on Disk1.
I'm now running on Disk2 in an attempt to conifgure some settings on a fresh Ubuntu and KVM pfSense.

      However, the error appears.alt text
I think something's wrong with the install setup, as I've never been asked before to select disks and partitions before on a pfSense install.
I notied the VMM (Virtual Machine Manager) also came up with some errors, which resolved itself after some clicking around.

I have also run VMM from Terminal$ sudo virt-manager -> Enter.
I have also uninstalled VMM -> reinstalled VMM and created the pfSense KVM, however same issue.

          The work around is

          sudo mv pfSense-CE-2.7.0-RELEASE-amd64.iso /var/lib/libvirt/images/

pfSense runs, but I would like to run a normal install and know what the issue is?

Agreement here also. I know you're doing a custom built however, this could offer insights: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/recipes/virtualize-proxmox-ve.html

It seems that your network interfaces are messed up...did you change cards?

              NICs are same as before.
Yes, it's a custom install using hypervisor VMM rather than Proxmox, this allows the Desktop OS Ubuntu to run natively rather than less performance as a KVM.

I changed the host OS from Disk1 to Disk2, but unsure how that could cause the error.
Anyway, the network is working after my work around, although I prefer to solve the issue for future smoother installs.
