If you can see the upgrade to RC you will also see the release.

Try running at the command line: pfSense-repoc

If that returns without error then you still have access to the pkg repos as expected.

        Hi Steve,

I don't understand a little. If I received a pfsense plus home license, say, a month ago, will I still receive updates for another 11 months? I thought netgate would abruptly disable updates for all home users.

I can't answer that directly. I can say you will see the 23.09-REL update. I can update this when I know anything firmer.

                From elsewhere:

@stephenw10 said in Wan periodic reset causes system reboot.:

It should not be. Existing subs should still function until they expire at least.

Also further updates may still happen here.

                Clarification in:

No existing subs will not be cancelled before expiration.

Can we quote you on that - I mean I just clicked the quote button and everything?

That information came from the top. I cannot imagine what would have to happen to change that position.

I absolutely understand the implications here and in particular how it impacts dev/beta testers. Discussions are ongoing. Hopefully we will have options.

The above came from this thread. It may not answer everyone's questions but it should give you an idea how things have developed.

Can you please tell me if pfSense CE 2.7.1 is suitable for migration from Plus 23.09? Do they have the same config version?

@Viper_Rus There is a page for config versions...

Yup that^. But it needs to be updated. They are both running config v23.3 right now.

I now have the following inscription:
Messages: Your device is eligible for pfSense Plus®! Select Upgrade to upgrade.
But the branch for upgrade is not available ;)

The CE > Plus upgrade is still being tested so the repo branch hasn't been enabled there yet. I haven't seen any issues yet though so I expect it to be added soon.

Well, I personally don’t need it, I just wrote to you that this is the case now. Now I will test CE for you :). Thank you very much for releasing 2.7.1 so quickly to roll back those who tested 09/23 with the new config.

                                    Hello !

On my Netgate 8200 bought a few months ago (less than a year) I have this, is it normal?

                                    1f5206ba-46f5-4227-b6c5-b57b08b5959c-image.png

                                    Thanks for your advice :-)

I started with two "no-name" pfsense, one for use at home and the other as a backup in case of problems (which can happen when you're new to pfsense).

See https://www.netgate.com/support#table including the note at the bottom of the table

*Free TAC Lite - TAC Lite support is included at no charge when purchasing a Netgate appliance, cloud instance, or virtual machine.

My understanding is Netgate appliances come with a TAC light licence which last for the reasonable product life.
Higher level support is available for a price if required

                                      But I maybe wrong

OK, that's kind of what I thought ... but then why isn't anything mentioned on my interface, I'm having a bit of trouble understanding.

It is always included for Netgate devices no matter what is shown in the support widget. Just as you will always see pfSense upgrades and packages on that device.
