Every now and then I'm noticing that our OpenVPN connections go down.

When I check in Status -> OpenVPN, the connection seems fine.

But when I check in Diagnostics -> Routes (on the server side), I see that the routes to the remote subnet are missing.

I've tried stopping and starting the OpenVPN connection and it resolves nothing. Restarting the server side completely restores the connections and the appropriate routes.

I did notice this happen recently not long after I had added a static route (but not a route at all related to the interface or subnets of the OpenVPN connection). I'm not sure if that was related (since it is changing something related to the routing daemon) or just coincidence.

What might be causing this and how can I fix it?
