Wireguard and DNS for tunnels (like OpenVPN and Unbound for clients)

Any notion of it/when there would be an option to have wireguard create DNS entries in unbound for clients. Currently with OpenVPN, you can have a DNS entry populated into a zone with the CN value of the cert being used. This capability has been integral to getting certain functionality to work. That said, would like to transition a litany of tunnels, but need an equivalent means to make that leap. Any sense of if/when that might become available for wireguard?
