      Hello,
I am completely lost on this and I need help. I have a unifi access point connected to a unifi controller (VM on dell r720 server) with a pfsense firewall (on a 4-port protectli vault) all connected thru a netgear managed switch. I have 3 vlans (10 private, 20 iot, 30 guest) and I use LAN as my manage lan. currently (while I am troubleshooting) I have all firewall rules diabled and allowing free access to all lans, I have the switch allowing all tagged traffic on all ports (pfsense, dell r720, unifi controller, and ap) for all the vlans.

The problem I am having is if I have a vlan connected to my lan port (igb1) wifi connects and works fine but if I switch a vlan to the second port (igb2), the wifi connects to the controller and shows that it is active but it is not connecting to the internet. looking at the config it looks like its not getting assigned an IP from pfsens DHCP.

Am I missing something to get wifi working on the igb2 port?

How are the VLANs configured in pfSense?

We might need a diagram here.

This doesn't seem like a Wireless question directly.

        Steve
