      I've recently purchased a GW-R86S-T3 mini PC (Intel N6005 CPU, 16G RAM, 256G NVMe, 3x 2.5G NIC) from Gowinsolution (https://www.gowinfanless.com/) to run pfSense and while everything else is perfect and fast, pfSense does not detect a built-in Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160 MHz card.

      Any suggestions?

        That should be supported by the iwlwifi driver but that's not included in current pfSense versions

        However it does not support .ax or .ac modes. And it does not support hostap mode. It cannot be an access point.

          @stephenw10

          Thank you for your reply.

          I've purchased GW-R86S-T3 to replace my aging hardware since I'll be getting fiber internet soon and old hardware would not be abble to handle it.

          I used Wi-Fi card in my old box as a client to connect to my next door neighbour's AP with whom I have an agreement, to connect to his Wi-Fi in case my main ISP is down.
          Esentialy, Wi-Fi acts as a fail-over WAN automatically switching as needed.

          I was hoping to replicate the same setup with new hardware. Hopefully, my current hardware will get some support with some future version of pfSense.
